Abstract:

In this paper, stability for uncertain time variant linear systems with time delay is studied. A new sufficient condition for delay-dependent systems is given in matrix inequality form which depends on the range of delay. Then, we introduce a new direct computational method to solve delay systems. This method consists of reducing the delay problem to a set of algebraic equations by first expanding the candidate function as hybrid functions with unknown coefficients. By using collocation method, the coefficients of the hybrid functions are obtained. Some numerical examples are given to illustrate and compare our results with other existing methods in the literature.

Delay-Dependent Robust Asymptotically Stable for Linear Time Variant Systems

In this paper, the problem of delay dependent robust asymptotically stable for uncertain linear time-variant system with multiple delays is investigated. A new delay-dependent stability sufficient condition is given by using the Lyapunov method, linear matrix inequality (LMI), parameterized first-order model transformation technique and transformation of the interval uncertainty in to the norm ...

Identification and Control of MIMO Systems with State Time Delay (Short Communication)

Time-delay identification is one of the most important parameters in designing controllers. In the cases where the number of inputs and outputs in a system are more than one, this identification is of great concern. In this paper, a novel autocorrelation-based scheme for the state variable time-delay identification for multi-input multi-output (MIMO) system has been presented. This method is ba...

On Finite Time Delay Dependent Stability of Linear Discrete Delay Systems: Numerical Solution Approach

In this paper, a possible solution of the basic nonlinear quadratic matrix equation was proposed. The solution is crucial in the formulation of the particular criteria for the delay-dependent finite time stability of discrete time delay systems represented as x(k+1) = A0(k) + A1x(k–h). The time delay-dependent criteria have been derived. In addition, the significance of the nonlinear discrete p...

Numerical solution of linear control systems using interpolation scaling functions

The current paper proposes a technique for the numerical solution of linear control systems. The method is based on Galerkin method, which uses the interpolating scaling functions. For a highly accurate connection between functions and their derivatives, an operational matrix for the derivatives is established to reduce the problem to a set of algebraic equations. Several test problems are given...
